The official site, bran-castle.com, sells entry tickets in Romanian currency (lei). As of July 2026, the prices are:

• Senior (65+): 90 lei (≈€18)
• Student: 80 lei (≈€16)
• Child (5–17): 60 lei (≈€12)
• Under 5 and disabled visitors: Free
• Student groups (20+): 50 lei per person

Once inside, you can buy add-ons at the ticket desk: Time Tunnel (multimedia lift) +30 lei, and Torture Chambers exhibit +30 lei. The castle also sells a Royal Tour combo (priority-lane access) for 190 lei adult / 130 lei child, or with a guide for 230 lei / 170 lei. Currency note: roughly 5 lei = €1.

What about the Time Tunnel and Torture Chambers?

Both cost 30 lei (≈€6) each, paid on-site in lei. The Time Tunnel is a multimedia lift ride bored through the rock beneath the castle — a fun novelty. The Torture Chambers is a small exhibit of medieval devices. Neither is essential, but both offer a different angle on the visit. Budget a few extra lei if you want to add them; neither is available to book in advance on either site.
